Have you had a chance to catch this great artist profile video of yours truly? It's a short featurette in advance of the BikeCraft show, and I talk about making headbadges and the infamous Bike Mustache.
(And read the whole post on BikePortland.)

'Tis the Season of the Tweed Ride!
Calling all dapper gents and ladies! Portland, Oregon is hosting its first annual Tweed Ride! A wonderful chance to don your 1900s garb and join friends for a leisurely pedal around town and picnic.

I would participate in the ride if I was in town, but I am currently in Bisbee, AZ. So... I shall be participating from a distance... I've just confirmed today that one lucky winner at the Tweed Ride will take home their very own Bike Mustache!

Mark your calendars and have a great afternoon!
(And if you don't want to take your chances with winning at the event and would like to purchase your very own Bike Mustache, scurry over here.)

Did you know that the Bike Mustache is a traveling art project?
Back in July, Russ and I sold all of our stuff and left our home in Long Beach, CA to cycle around the US (and, hopefully, beyond). After many short bicycle tours, we decided to finally head out for the long term. After four and a half months on the road, I can tell you... touring on bike is the way to go!
While we're traveling, we're also keeping up our respective professions. Russ is a photographer and is shooting amazing images along the way. I am a metalsmith, so I have a front pannier packed with tools and materials, so that I can create on the road.
Which means that the Bike Mustache is being made in campgrounds, hotels, and spare rooms around the country!

I'll keep posting photos here of all the crazy places that I get to work - and you can also follow our journey at www.pathlesspedaled.com.

Welcome to the Bike Mustache blog!

Hello dapper peoples around the world! Isn't it about time that the Bike Mustache have its own proper home in the internet world?!
New to the Bike Mustache? Think of it as a wonderfully whimsical way to make your bicycle stand out from the crowd! Each Bike Mustache is hand-crafted, by me, out of copper (or sterling silver, if you'd prefer), to be adhered to your bike frame. They are all unique and they are all fun! And you can get yours here.
